Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using AgentOS ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
2. License grant
Upon successful purchase, AgentOS grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the Software on up to two (2) active Apple Silicon Macs that you own or control. The license is personal to the purchaser and cannot be resold or sublicensed.
3. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law;
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices;
- Use the Software to develop a competing product;
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Software or your license key;
- Use the Software in violation of any applicable law.
4. Updates
Your license includes lifetime updates to AgentOS v1.x and subsequent major versions at no additional cost. AgentOS makes no guarantee that any specific feature will be added, retained, or maintained indefinitely.
5. Local-first operation
AgentOS runs inference locally on your Mac. AgentOS does not transmit your code, prompts, or model outputs to AgentOS-operated servers. Third-party model providers (if you connect them) are governed by their own terms.
6. Disclaimer of warranty
The Software is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. AgentOS does not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AgentOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the Software. Total aggregate liability is limited to the price you paid for the license.
8. Termination
Your license terminates automatically if you breach these Terms. Upon termination you must cease use of the Software and delete all copies. Sections 6, 7, and 9 survive termination.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Denmark.
